Cherry is a moderately hard wood with linear grain patterns, which will darken and gain character as time passes. This sustainably sourced traditional wood is the perfect choice for the kitchen area and will last for decades if well cared for.  

The worktops are masterfully crafted, from sustainably sourced timber, in the UK and Europe and are available in 40mm staves (blocks) and full stave (planks), as well as varying lengths and widths, to suit your design.   

The worktops are created by joining 40mm, wooden staves (blocks) using skilfully crafted V-groove joints. This design creates a distinctive block pattern and a hard-wearing surface that will last for years. The full stave worktops are made from cherry wood staves (planks), which run the worktop’s complete length and show this beautiful wood’s rich linear grain patterns.   

We create quality worktops with a 150-grit finish, square edges and corners, as standard at Wood Worktops. The worktops require oiling/sealing before installation. A bespoke Cutting service and an Oiling/sealing service are available if you would like your worktop cut and ready to fit from delivery. A professional tradesperson should be used to safely and securely fit the worktops. It is a skilled job requiring the correct tools and slotted/expansion brackets to attach the tops to the cabinets.
