Description
The Full Stave Iroko Worktop 27mm is an excellent choice for those who would like the rich bronze tones of the Iroko wood but in a thinner 27mm option. This sumptuous wood is also known as African Teak due to its elegant grain patterns and distinctive linear markings. Iroko timber is a sustainably sourced elegant hardwood with a high oil content, which gives the worktops their hard wearing and stain-resistant qualities. The carefully selected full staves (planks), which are between 80mm – 120mm, run the worktop’s length, showing this beautiful wood’s linear markings at their best. With sizes from 1.5m – 3.9m, there is something to fit every design, whether traditional or modern.
The worktops are finished to a high-quality 150-grit smoothness, ready for oiling and sealing on delivery and have square edges and corners. If you prefer your worktop ready to fit on delivery, add the oiling/sealing service when placing your order. A bespoke cutting service is also available if you require a more tailored design.
All wood worktops should be sealed/treated, before being installed, by a qualified tradesperson, using the correct tools and slotted or extension brackets. The wider 1240mm worktops may also require additional support to prevent cupping, warping or bowing. Placing an order with Wood Worktops is easy. Just select the worktop size you require from the list (remembering to add on, cutting and oiling services, if required). Don’t hesitate to call or email us if you have any questions at all.
