The Black American Walnut worktop is a darker variety of wood than the European Walnut, creating richer dark brown tones. This gives the worktops distinctive elegance, character and flowing wave design, making them an ideal match for dark or light cabinets. The distinctive block patterns are created by joining sustainably sourced 40mm staves or planks with V-grooved joints to create a hard-wearing, durable work surface.
The worktops are available in various lengths, from 1m – 4m. They have a thickness of 40mm to suit your unique design and space. The size variations also allow our customers to keep the wastage of this beautiful wood to a minimum and avoid unnecessary costs. The worktops are finished to a 150-grit smoothness and supplied to you untreated with square corners and edges, as standard. However, you can take advantage of our expertise and use the oiling or bespoke cutting services by selecting these options at the checkout.
We know the skill required to fit worktops safely and securely at Wood Worktops. Therefore, we recommend fitting is carried out only by a skilled tradesperson, using the correct tools and brackets to ensure a firm fix. To make choosing the correct wood for your worktop easy, we supply wood samples free of charge, allowing you to see the wood in your home and pick the right product for your design. If you are ready to order, you can do this either online or by giving our team a call. We are happy to answer any questions about our products and services by email or phone.
