The Wenge Worktop, with its nearly black base colour and brown grain accents, gives your design a dramatic focal point and a touch of glamour. This beautifully elegant, dark, dense wood is the timber equivalent of granite. It creates an incredibly hard-wearing work surface that will stand the rigour of even the busiest kitchens with ease, gaining character as the decade’s pass.
The luxurious Wenge timber is harvested from sustainable sources and meticulously manufactured in Europe. The worktops are created by joining 40mm, wooden staves (blocks) together using V-groove joints. This creates a durable, strong surface with a unique block pattern.
The worktops are supplied ready for oiling/sealing (which should be completed, before fitting, to all surfaces, including the edges and sides) and have square cut edges and corners. If you require a bespoke cut design, or oiling/sealing, to be completed before delivery, these services can be added when you place your order.
Fitting a worktop that will last for decades is a skilled job. We highly recommend using an experienced tradesperson with the correct tools and brackets, as this will give an excellent finish to your design and make the most of your investment. Before placing your order, carefully check your measurement, then choose your worktop from the available options. If required, remember to add the Bespoke Cutting Service and Oiling/Sealing service. Don’t hesitate to contact our friendly team by email or phone, if you need assistance or have any questions.
